Cost of installing Eibach lowering kit
I purchased a set of Eibach lowering springs for my 01 Cobra convert. What is the timeframe and close to cost for installation so that I know I'm not getting screwed over. Thanks, Jerry

whats up man. It should be like a 2 hour job by a shop max. Im not sure about cost my buddy owns a shop and does everything cheap for me. But its a job you should be able to do with one of your buddy in just an afternoon. I did it with one of my friends. I did autos in high school and he knows nothing about cars but we took my old ones out cut them 1.5 inches shorter (my car sits perfectly level by the way) and put them back in all in about 4 hours. that was with just jack stands and hand tools. if you can raise your tire off the ground and take the tire off you can do it. i would use 2 people to make things easier though.

I had mine installed about 2 years ago, along with lca's and the bumpsteer kit for $250 I think. I'm sure that average labor costs have increased since then, though (I think that shop's rate was $65 or $70/hr then, I've been seeing places lately going from $75 to $90/hr in my area).

My buddy and i installed mine. 6 hours and 12 beers later we had it done lol. We really had no idea what we were doing, and were not prepared.
I think i remember be quoted around $200-$250 when i was shopping around.

install them yourself..... springs are 1 of the easiest thngs to do. Looks complicated, but once you do it you will realize its a piece of cake. With a impact gun and all the tools laid out next to the car, i can do all 4 corners in ~ 1.5 hrs
