Default 3rd Sucks, what shifter do you have ?

Hey Guys, I put in a Hurst short throw shifter and I still have to be way carefull trying to shift into 3rd hard. Came over from the GM side a couple years ago and I gotta tell I never missed a gear before... Maybe the stock **** is the culprit..... Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks

I have a steeda tri-ax, the guy that works on my car can't believe how much smoother and easier to find gears it is over his MGW.

My TKO 500 came with a Hurst shifter and it was not a short throw at all even with a shorter handle.
Gotta TriAx now, awesome

Yup, Tri-Ax. A little notchy for the around town driving, but no problems when you're bangin' through 'em to let the geek in the Honda know his car blows dogs.

i still have the stocker in the cobra, but i had MGW in my 94 and loved it. the consensus always seems to be between the tri-ax and the MGW. im sure they both will be great.

Got my stock shifter still also. Had a Hurst in my 96 and it was great. I just like the hurst shifter *****. Will the ball style ones fit a triax? Everyone is going to give a different opinion on shifters so buy what you like
