I have 4.10's and LOVE THEM! That is the only gear I would recommend for an auto, well 4.10 and above anyway. It really does wake it up. 4.10s are butt dyno approved.

4.10s have won me a few races. PPL go for 3.73s becuase they think its gonna save tons of gas or w/e reasoning they use.. then get waxed by a heavier car with a 220lb driver..with less mods.

Torque multiplication is a wonderful thing. Im building an all n/a car; I need all the gear I can get.

Man, I need gears, too. I will get them later rather than sooner, but what would I rev at with 4:30's at 7o mph? I guess what would the diff. be between them and 4:10's?

So this is your personal preference. I'm guessing this is not your DD?

Well, the reason I asked about top speed was simple curiosity. I like to know everything that's effected.

So, how easy is it to install the gears? How much does it cost? What's the process of doing it?

Well it depends on your skill level. Most people will not even attempt because it is very easy to mess up on them and cause more damage then good. It will probably cost ~$300 labor + parts for a shop to install them. There is a lot to doing gears yourself such as a few special tools. There are write ups and videos floating around the internet and a few on the forum here that have explain gear install very well.

If I was you, I would find a good, reputable shop and have them install the gears. If your car has over 40,000 miles get the bearing kit.

If your going to be racing the car and driving it hard, get 4.30s. If not 4.10s.

4.30s are a steeper gear and you would only really benefit from them if your going to be driving it hard. If your not going to be driving it hard, 3.73s or 4.10s would be better because it would wake your car up and make it a little more fun to drive, especially if you ever do get on it a little. I wish I could have got 4.30s but 4.10s are as much gear as I need for now.
