Id go with "h" beam connecting rods. and forged pistons(better with heat and stronger) try and get your top compression ring set a little farther down to reduce micro wielding. get some nice plasma-moly rings. you could prob get thinner bearing, for more performance(nascar status lol) but if you want your motor to last for more then 500miles get decent sized bearing.

thank you with all the help everyone, i'm thinking I beams only because i want something that will last, i wont be raping the hell out of the car either, i take care of my stuff, though there will be fun had with it. as far as hp goes, anything over 850 will be fine, i'd like a 1K horse car, but it wont kill me not to have it. there is a guy who threw a video on youtube of his 5.4 4 valve with twin turbos running 1200 hp. its a 93 i think and he drives it on the street......it runs like 7's. i want a 7 second street car....especially with only the 1.5 inch cowl.
