Default Possible new car

This prob isn't the right section, but its where i usually post.

My dad is looking at getting my mom a new car. It will be a surprise, but so far.....i know she wants blue, but is open, and an auto for sure. Haha, thats about all i'm goin off of besides its gonna be a new edge and it HAS TO BE under 12 grand. That's really close to Mach 1 territory, but for a high mileage one.

Here are a few i've found

Any other ideas? It will be a Christmas/New Years/Birthday/Valentines Day gift, so there is some time

You should be able to find lower to mid mile mach for that. 35-55k. But your mom wants a new edge? If not look in to expeditions

That car is in California?!?!

When I was looking for cars recently, there was a lot of cars around 80k miles and around the $9k mark. I would think you could find a good deal here in NE for the price range your looking at. Stupid dealers here in Lincoln think their Mustangs are gold and sell them for too much lol

Keep checking out craigslist in both Lincoln and Omaha. You will find a lot of Mustangs for sale. Good luck finding your mom a Mustang.

A little pricey but not bad -2002 GT, vert 35,000 $12k (way to much)

Mustang Cobra - 2001, 105,000 $10,980

2004 GT - 97,000 $7300

2002 GT - 30,000, vert $12,800 (talk him down?) Really clean looking

1999 Cobra - Vert, 55,000 $12,000

2002 GT - 48,000 $8600

I think the one from GI that I linked (the last one) would be a good deal. I don't think your going to find a car worth shipping from CA seeing how much gas is and how much extra they would charge just for the shipping. That's just my .02 lol
