ive got a 96 gt and a 99 (non gt) on both of them, only the passenger rear tire spins, how do i make both tires spin? now i feel a bit dumb bout the times ive showed off doing burn outs in them, just thinking, only watching smoke come from one side, doesnt look right.

what is the T lock? i dont really know to much about cars, i wish i did, i plan one eventualy going to school to become a mechanic

Your rear differential. You need it rebuilt with new clutch packs.

If youre gonna do this, you might as well do an upgrade and get 31 spline axles, an 03 cobra differential, and gears. You can find that diff for $300, axles for close to $300 or less, and gears for like $140-170 depending on ratio and what brand you buy. So, just shop around.

could be low on fluid. I know some of the rear ends are notorious for leaking, and the seal failing. happened to me when I bought my car.

Your fluid is probably old and broken down...

Cheapest fix could be to buy the correct gear oil (good brand) for your rear... Drain, and refill... Has worked for me in the past.

And make sure you put in friction modifier!!! And do all the above stated. lol
