Have you ever owned them? They are no more cheap than mac headers.. which everyone loves on here. If anything I think the pypes stuff is constructed better..
Yup. Mine sound great.

Nice pics, OP.

The picture is gone so I can't see it but here's my mac's. If you can't tell, the headers tuck higher than than my cross brace. $488 shipped with H pipe from D'Agustino Racing (sp?) It is impossible for me to bottom out my headers.

I think a few people have had different fitment issues with the pypes. The stainless is good but only if it doesn't take away from function, which yours, sounds like it is.

Yup, had the pypes longtubes on my 01 gt, IMO there crap. About after a month of having them I switched to kooks.

ROFL.. good for you. Ull never catch me paying that much money for the same thing. My Pypes headers tuck up just fine and sit just like sxynerds.

The only issue i had was there was minimal contact with the steering shaft. Anyone who is worth their salt could EASILY fix that in 5min. I dont see how its worth paying a grand for some headers..

Good numbers btw...
It sits lower cause the car has been dropped but you can see in the picture that the cross member had to be lowered.

After having pretty much 3 brands of headers between 3 of my mustangs and looking at the quality, fit, and finish, there is a reason that ARH and Kooks are the most expensive.

Next time I'll consult with you before I buy anything because your opinion matters the most.

Well of course the quality is better.. but I dont think its worth 1 grand for some pipes that alow me to take the starter off without pulling a header..which is basically the only advantage to em.

Just my .02 but as far as exhaust goes.. if you find something that fits well and is cheap get it.. because HP gain wise its all gonna be the same. The only exhaust stuff I woud never get is BBK because that **** hangs lower than n e thing.
