Default What do u think of the new track times....

03 gt 5speed, x pipe, sm1's catback, 3.73's,mgw,sct, and CAI...ran a 13.70 at 101 on street tires..do u think i can get a 13.5* out of her on streets tires?

i would say maybe, but the only improvement left would be either your shifting or your 60, since the trap speed is about where its going to be. unless you mod more, but thats not a bad time. and too be honest the gears are going to make it way harder to improve your 60 on street tires.

I think that seems to be good compared to most peoples times with similar mods, but i guess there is always room for emprovment, soo keep trying for the 13.5

if you can somehow manage a 1.9-2.0 60 foot then a 13.5ish may be possible.. add some drag radials and low 13's would be possible

post up your slip, it will help a lot. also what track? this time a year the cold dense air is a great free mod haha.

Drag radials are street tires...but maybe a little bit of a driver mod might get you to a 13.5. What type of street tires are we talking about???

thanx for all the remarks guys...well it was at island dragway on a 45* night on novemeber 5th, and i cant get a pic up but ill write the slip up here. and im runin 275 BFG force sport at about 17lbs....

IMO it's going to somewhat hard to do any better than that on street tires. Yo may cut a 13.5 under perfect conditions, but i'd bet you would have trouble doing it consistantly.

Throw on some long tubes, udp's, and a tb/plenum, and you'll make it for sure with all else being equal.
