yeah i realized all that. im still just looking, not sure if im going to dive into it. i might just get a chin spoiler for mine right now and call it day, after all i am investing in some wheels so it might not be the best time right now to spend the money i have.

i don't think any aftermarket company makes the 99/01 cobra bumper. i managed to find a guy on craigslist that was selling a silver GT with the cobra bumper. it took some convincing, but i managed to get him to swap bumpers with me plus a little cash. i didn't even need to paint my bumper!

ya dont be cheap, i bought a repro. it was made in taiwan or something and was like a half inch too short from one side to the other

Since you are in PA, a lot of parts dealers around you buy from Keystone. They are a supplier of parts and they get CAPA body parts in all the time. My 03 cobra bumper is a CAPA bumper and im sure that you could find an 01 cobra bumper through them for cheaper than an OEM one.

The Pershing repo bumpers are very good quality, I would use that If i couldnt find a used 01 bumper.

First off, where in PA are you??? Try going around to different body shops and parts places that arent chain stores around where you are and ask them if they can get in CAPA certified body parts, specifically bumper covers.

im about 30 minutes outside of philly. and i'll call up my one buddys body shop, his father owns it, thats where i can get stuff painted for free
