When you said that you had to send the wheel back bc it wasnt the right one, did you mean that the colors were off as in the shades of gray? Or it just wasnt the right wheel whatsoever?

In my opinion, i feel as though the wheels you have are aftermarket wheels. They just look so damn new to me that i dont think they could have been on an 01+ mustang unless the guy took them off as soon as he bought the car.

I really feel that you will be fine if you get the wheel from Americanmuscle, but don't take my word. This is a tough one...

Well, I have pieced this Mustang together for about 3 years and I have owned the wheels since 2006. I found them behind an old barn and the guy said that they were taken off of a Mustang. I got them with the one wheel already like that, 100$ for the set. The wheel that I ordered and had to return looked like a wheel from an 01 Bullitt. It had that rough/pitted finish and it was a darker grey.

Are these the ones you want? http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-foru...ims-tires.html

They came out of a 04 Mustang GT.

They look like the newer bullets. I have Bullits on my 01 and they are stock. The paint on them looks like it has a ton of metallic in them instead of being so smooth like the ones in the picture you posted. Post a close up shot of a spoke. I am almost positive those are the newer ones.

Well, I asked AMNick and he said that their wheel won't work because it has slight differences than the stock wheel.

hmmmm..

does anybody know if the 03-04 GT's came with a polished/machined lip? or did they just have a machined lip? (i know mine are just machined on the stockers)

because if the OP's wheels have a polished and machined lip (it looks like they do), providing that the 03-04 stockers don't, then his wheels are aftermarket and should match the AM wheels...

They are OE wheels, they have a Ford stamp on the back. I think I may have found 2 in Kansas City that I can pick up this weekend, I'll let you guys know more about it when I do.
