It has nothing to do with the crank. The Mach balancer is better than the GT's and since the 4v likes to rev higher ford allows it to.

Whats wrong with an auto? My auto can out shift anyone. Why do you think drag cars are all auto?

autos are boring to drive...ive had both stick and auto, and im converting my stang to auto for drag racing

drag cars are auto because of consistency, it has nothing to do with it being better or worse...its preference...not all drag cars are stick

you get the point

stick trans is more driveline shock and when youre talking high HP cars, money falls into the equation....i would prefer a 6spd manual in my mustang, but to build one to pair up with the big block, is just out of my budget
