I don't know what's involved, but i've heard the termi motors are pretty expensive. I know our local Mustang shop has one that's $9000.

I thought your car was just a little over 100k? Is it not still running strong?

If you go with a cobra motor, do a 96-98 cobra motor just because it comes with the teksid block. And you can find them for about the same price. And as long as you get the wiring harness for that year car, it should be just swap out the wiring harness, swap in motor, plug everything in, take it to go get tuned.

They aren’t forged either. Same rods and pistons as our 2v.

You got LTs, o/r pipe, and 3.73s. That car’s begging for a supercharger. Even the most basic supercharger will let your car beat a 99/01 Cobra.

P.S. Yes, I know a supercharged 99/01 will beat a 2v but you would have to do the 4v mod first then add a supercharger to get that power. And your still not running forged internals.

Honestly, for $2K, I wouldn't do it. You can get a lot of bolt ons of that price. If you got the motor for around $500, then I would say to go for it.
