yes flowmasters (any chambered muffler really) are more restrictive than alot of the other muffler designs, but on our cars they sound too sexy.
well iam putting down 400rwhp not crazy but with the forced induction you think i should be fine? i rather not losse any hp but they do sound great plus they have the 44's in stainless steel.

heres a clip of the super 44's and pypes o/r x sounds soooooo good.

i HATE flows with an o/r x. i heard a guy with that setup at a meet last year and it was aweful. at first i thought it sounded sick from off in the distance, but when he pulled into the parking lot it sounded super metallic. i realize that the o/r h and flows combo has been beat to death, but i honestly think it sounds way better. if i were you i would look into MAC. to each his own i guess.

Theres what it will sound like...only different because of the F/I in place and the ss might make it sound slightly different as well. I like the sound. Its deep and screams WOT. I say go for it.

In my opinion off road mid-pipes sound best with a straight through muffler
and with catted mid-pipes u can go either way

Yeah, i'm not a big fan of that type of sound in general. It does sound pretty good at WOT, but at low/part throttle it does have that tinny/metallic sound.

I think any chambered muffler is gonna have that sound... not just flows.

If its any consolation, my car made 250rwhp with that setup with minimal mods and a slipping clutch. So they dont take away power. They cant be that bad considering the power my car made with them. I'm happy with the power and sound. It sounds different than everyone else's cars that ive heard. Everyone has an x pipe with some straight through muffler or an h pipe with some chambered muffler. I mixed the 2 and it sounds good and gets compliments everywhere i go. So im happy with it. But honestly, if youre gonna go with an o/r x pipe and you want less metallic sounding exhaust, go with a bassani style x pipe over a pypes/upr style x pipe. They have more of a chamber style x and it makes it a little less raspy. I'd love to find a bassani o/r x pipe to take off the pypes for just cus it would sound a lil bit better in my mind.
