Quikie

Im willing to bet a limb that this has been asked before, but I am losing a battle trying to get my 2000 GT running right again; down on power, missing, etc. I went to get different plugs and nobody has the AWSF32P's that it comes stock with. All the plugs they bring up for it have the same overall length, but twice the amount of threads or so. Wouldn't that make the plug sit lower in the chamber? Blow-out reasons? My search is bringing up 2 results every time so this is all I know to do.

On a side note, I just had the rear blacked-out at a bodyshop and bought some chrome 03 Cobra rims :). I guess it doesn't have to run properly as long as it looks good. Thanks

Just buy TR55's i think. They are NGK plugs for the stock heat range and they will do fine. Im running TR6's in my car right now which is a heat range colder than stock...but they are doing fine and are not expensive at all.

There you go, and you get free shipping too. So overall great buy. And they have other plugs there...but those are the ones id go with.

I am gonna hijack the thread for a sec...will i notice the change at all anywhere(mpg, feel, anything) if i change the TR6's out for the TR55's???

op for a stock gt go to your local part store and get a set of autolight ap104 gap them at .054. you will be good to go. yes the have longer threads no it is not an issue. the shorter thread plugs supersed to the longer. but if you really want to go with the shorter get a set of autolight ap764.

teej, you can go with a tr6, but you are not gonna notice any difference at all. not gonna hurt anything not gonna gain anything

I already have the TR6's and was gonna switch back to the stock heat range because i thought the hotter burn might get me better mpg or something. And i kinda wanna replace them and the fuel filter again. Just wondering.

completly wrote the wrong thing. what i ment to say was you wont notice a difference at all. i would just keep your tr6's and if you arnt over 10,000 miles on them i wouldnt even worry about changing them

They're at about 20,000 miles right now actually. Did a tune up when i first bought the car 2 years ago. Just was thinking about doing another tune up on her. Plus i wanna check the plugs to see generally where my a/f ratio(just to see if im rich or lean by color of the plug).
