Default build is coming along, what do ya think?

Alright. Some progress has already started on the build. I bought a set of PI heads fully assembled, and also a high volume Melling oil pump. I'm really starting to narrow down on exactly what I want to do, and here is pretty much what I came up with. Let me know what you think:

MMR stage 3 port/polish on my PI heads (includes competition angle valve job as well)
Install crower valve springs/steel retainers (already have)
Install Crower stage 2 NON PI blower cams (already have)
Send Vortech SQ trim to Vortech to be upgraded to SI trim (happening in next few weeks)
Forged Rotating assmebly:

or

MMR Street Mod 900 Rotating assembly
1200 HP Forged Steel Racing Crankshaft (6 or 8 bolt)
MANLEY 4340 Forged H-beam Rods with ARP Bolts
MANLEY Forged Pistons with tool steel Pins
Hastings or Speed Pro Rings
Clevite Rod and Main bearings
1 year Warranty

They are the same price

Fuel setup: I currently run 42# injectors, Walbro 255lph intank pump, 90MM LMAF
I know I am selling my 42# injectors and getting 60# injectors...but other than that not too sure about fuel

New water pump

All new gaskets/seals

how does everything look? If anybody has any ideas/suggestions I am listening!

for the forged rotating assembly? Yeah, I think Livernois is wayyyy more of a reputable shop than MMR. And they are the exact same price.

However, for head porting, nobody can really touch MMR's specs/price. I have yet to find a place that can do a stage 3 port/polish for $750. So thats the reason I was leaning towards MMR for the headwork.

What will I have to do when it comes to fuel to handle in the 600rwhp range

Yea the fuel system will definitely need an upgrade, injectors (which you are getting) plus lines (just to be safe) and of course more than just a 255pump. Prolly have to get a sumped fuel setup.

its basically just a slight step down from a T trim. fuel will definately be my last step of the project after i get the forged rotating assmebly, headwork, and blower upgraded.

Just another question, on my setup before I ran a 90mm LMAF with a vortech mini race bypass valve. What would it take to switch my setup to blow thru style?

move your MAF after the BPV, and i would suggest getting a PMAS meter. i got one and the drivability is great with it. havent really seen too many people use the 90mm LMAF on a lot of blow through setups, although im sure they're out there.

you can run those cams but they wont take advantage of the port job you paid $750 for. Id sell those cams and get some custom grinds
