By the time you get done putting full bolts on which will cost over 5,000 dollars with susp, you will still get hump by a stock cobra.

Get a Cobra (though I also really like the Mach 1), because if you don't, you will continually be chasing the ghost of the Cobra you could have had.

It is simple to me GT+Bolt on's=Price of Cobra; Cobra+a few mods=Torqumonsta. Equation is simple. Buy the Cobra, else you will regret it. Plus, most cobras I have seen have work done to them still, so even with bolt ons, you will always be chasing them.

im with everyone else, deff get the cobra if you already have the money for it.

you will need alot of time and money put into a GT to keep up with cobra's

its like buying a V6 amd modding it to keep up with a stock GT...get the Cobra and you wont need to mod it much until you get used to the power.

i got my GT because a cobra was out of my price range and i like the simpler 2V NA motor. i had a 95 Mark 8 and just getting upper/lower intake maniold gaskets were sometimes a hassle....2V parts are dime a dozen.

if i had the chance later on to get a cobra HELL YES! but im enjoying my otherwise stock GT (deff a performance upgrade than a tank of a Mark 8)

GET THE COBRA!!!!!

^ this...

compete? after blower, maybe....if the cobras bone stock...in a straight line...but the cobra has so much more to offer than the GT. It isn't just about speed (which it has plenty of) it has many other features that make it uncomparable to a GT. Also the max power on internals is higher on the cobra.

Another vote for the Terminator. Look at it this way... I've never heard someone say "I have the money to get an 911 GT3, but I don't know if I need that much power, so I'll just get a Boxter." If you have the opportunity to get a car like a Cobra, it will be an experience that you will never forget. Just do it.
