These are pretty much very reliable cars to drive.

Just make sure the tranny shifts smoothly and doesnt grind. Run through all the gears. Make sure the clutch grabs. Just the routine stuff. Nothing really to worry about.. You'll love the car

Welcome to the forums! Where in MI are you at?

I've had my 04 gt for over 3 years now, and haven't had a single problem. Like stated above these are pretty reliable cars. Just the average routine check (fluid levels, trans, clutch, etc) will probably suffice. Yours has low miles which helps. Getting a history of the car would be nice as well.

Hope everything goes well with your deal. What color is the GT?

Yeah, avoiding winters and that lousy salt would be a good idea.

Good luck.

Hmm hopefully this doesnt happen to mine. And i get some help with the exhuast set up on this car cuz i am not familiar with it? IM fimilair to my Acura TL, manifold->2 cats->j-pipe->3rd cat->resonator->mid-muffler->then splits into two mufflers. I removed the mid muffelr(3rd muffler) to get a better sound on the TL.

Exhaust wise...id go with LTs, catted h midpipe (if you need it), and either LM2s, or a borla stinger set up. Your car would sound NASTY! But your gonna want to get gears either before or right after all that...TRUST me lol.

Welcome btw

What are LT's? And LM2's? And thx for the help guys, i test drove the stang today and omg i enjoyed it so much, the power the sound, shifting was good. Only thing is compared to my TL, i dont feel very confident taking this thing around a corner fast. And i dropped the clutch today at 2k rpms and this thing roasted the tires very easy.
