clay bar is really easy to use you just have to make sure you have plenty of lubricant so you dont marr the paint

and you have to make sure you kneed the clay every so often to get rid of surface grit that may scratch your paint.

Boy I would be scared to hear what they are charging for the install AND degreeing of the cams. Plus you'll be getting new cam gears but those aren't bad in price. But once it's done it will be worth it.

Yea me and my dad are good...and i mean VERY good customers there so im hopin he'll cut me a deal. Im buyin the cams, springs, retainers, and new injectors all for 700 bucks so that will cut the total cost down. But yeah im goin to talk to him tomorrow about costs.

Yea, my garage guy either lets me come up on weekends and we'll tackle the install together or he'll do it himself over the weekend or after shop hours and charge me like half of what he usually charges. So its awesome to know people in the auto mechanic field. lol but he is a very close family friend.

I have been trying to figure this out myself and so far most people just say it is incredibly time consuming which makes it a PITA to do especially when the motor is still in. I haven't exactly been able to figure out what degreeing cams involves, sounds like it isn't to difficult but I could be wrong.

Also I have heard buying cam gears allow you to just install the cams, install the cam gears and go. But I am still trying to find what is exactly involved.
