Just wanted to share my story. comming home from the bar tonight at 3:00 am (I work at a bar, I didn't drink anything, haha) and saw a new edge V6 with rims on the highway trying to be tough... spanked haha. anyways, to make the long story short, I for the first time buried the needle... it was a nice experience. I looked down at around 150... then I let off cuz I was a lil scared haha but the crazy thing is that It had at least another 10 MPH to go. Nobody else was on the highway BTW. (well except for the V6 that was a decent ways behind me haha)

Always a memorable first experience. I had mine against an M3.

Once you get the blower on it will get there MUCH quicker tho.

Thats awesome, i have yet to do that. Question though, you were able to top out at 150 still with your 4.10's? Noticed in your sig it's one of your mods.

150 mph with 4.10s happens at around 5200 rpm. If you had enough HP (410 @ 6500 rpm) you could reach 190 with 4.10s, at 6500 rpm...

one thing to consider is at those speeds your speedo is not 100% accurate either, they will tend to read a little bit high... so when it says 145, you may only be doing 135 or so..once it hits 150 it stops moving, so its all a guessing game at that point unless you have a gps

^^^ Very true. I buried mine once too, but who knows what the real speed was.

Lol man you guys are crazy! I think im too scared to go 150+. Ive done 135 and i was white knuckle and not breathing lol. I think id only do it at like the texas mile or sumthing.

I got to 115 in mine going to Vegas and I was scared. I can't imagine doing 150.
