Part of the reason was that the cams were ground for a blower application. It was a centri. Boost was ten pounds for both applications. Also, I ran meth with the blower and made 381 hp vs 331 for the turbo.

60 ft for the blower was 1.81, the turbo was in the 1.90s (don't recall specifically), the notrous was 1.67 60ft.

To be fair, the turbo for some reason wouldn't spool until I was about 60 ft out.

gotcha this all makes more sense....seems like the turbo build was lacking a little bit when it came to supporting mods...gotta love spraying off the line too lol

Stay NA... Add some good tires and light weight head lights and you'll run 10's.

i've always hear that nitrous was rough on things, but i've been seeing used kits for fairly cheap and it makes me really want to get some. it especially helps hearing that a 100 shot is pretty safe, and also since a cheap blower kit is around 2500 installed, and a reputable complete turbo kit is 6 grand from hellion. so the 3-800 for a nitrous kit seems like the way to go. anyone else running nitrous with good results? how does it compare to a methanol system?

I've been running a 100 shot for about 2 years now, and haven't had a single problem. Nitrous is just as safe as a blower when setup correctly.
