He said its one of his buddy's...or friend of his dad's or something. But I understand that youre getting a dyno tune but just because its tuned on the dyno with your tuner doesnt mean its a true dyno tune. What you need is the guy sitting there tweaking the parameters ever so slightly on an actual computer and doing multiple runs to get it where its supposed to be. So I'd go ahead with what the tuner is most comfortable with that way you will get everything out of it your tuner can get.

I will be getting a "true" dyno tune. My dad got one on his T/A after his cam install. The guy will be on his laptop changing some parameters on the car and making multiple pulls...im not worried about that.

Yea i mean me and my dad are VERY good customers here lolv. But I'll keep askin him questions, i mean we got some time til im gonna install these.

Thank you guys, you got me some great questions to ask and make sure this guy knows what he's doing about degreeing cams. It's the only part im worried about.

Thank you again.

Well unless he has a computer with tuning software on it for SCT, you wont be getting a true dyno tune. You have to have the computer program that is compatible with the tuner that you have. And you said the guy specializes in Sniper Tuning so the software that he has will only be good if you have a sniper handheld. So i'd go with the sniper at cost if i were you, or else after he tunes your car, you wont be able to use your xcal...or thats the way i understand it.
