Sort of makes me wish I would have done the math before I bought my tires, instead of just listening to random people on the forum. Live and learn.
What's wrong with your tire choice though? You don't like how the rear sidewalls are larger than the fronts? That's what i don't like. Plus, with a a 245/45/17 up front instead of my 255/40/17, my car will LOOK .3" lower since the tire will fill the wheel gap more (jazzer said that about half of the overall diameter difference equates into filling up the wheel gap or something like that). i forget "exactly" what he said, but it was something along the lines of that.

he's gunna come in here and beat me with a stick if what i just said about him was wrong haha..

but i think by switching to those tire sizes that you said, your car will also look lower since you will have more tire...

Well I would prefer a slightly taller tire overall. And like you said I wouldn't mind a little more sidewall in the front taking up some of that wheel gap. If I gain 1" in over all diameter that's .5" less wheel gap!

Exactly! If you look at how far the bumper is off the ground (and my headers which are approximately 3" off the ground) the car is slammed... but because of the small tires it makes it look like it's really not that low.

Well actually a smaller diameter tire will make your car lower... So going with a bigger sidewall and such will raise your car up...

Right but I don't want to physically lower the car, I just want to give that perception with less fender gap.

Does anyone know who makes a 305/35/18 tire other than MT?

You will probably notice it but as far as just random people looking at i i doubt they would be able to notice, espcially if you were driving it bye them.

Well i plan on removing my isolators AND putting a bigger tire up front. So it should look like it was dropped another inch. Still only noticeable to me prob, but that's fine. I mod it for myself

idk who makes 305/35/18.. dont most people go with a 30 series sidewall for that size tire?

Nitto makes their D/R's in 305 35 18's. My friend is running them and he doesnt like them cus they dont hook well. But they are made in that size. Thats the only one i can think of. M&H might make something similar in drag radials. And BFG makes the 315/30-18 drag radials. just something else to look into.
