I bought one from ebay. Turned out perfect. Paint matched exactly..I suggest this.

+1 to this. Kmelfi11 bought an 03/04 cobra bumper from ebay as well and the paint matched perfectly i believe. if you want a 2nd or 3rd opinion, message him

i believe soldierGT has an 03 right? so therefore his color would be redfire

Yeah true... but there are different shades of black.. The point is, that there are 2 people in this thread that have personal experience with buying pre-painted from ebay! even though kmelfi isnt in this thread, im giving him the credit lol

so ebay paint matching = 2 out of 2. 100% success rate

Paid $175 for the bumper and had the whole front clip repainted off of the car and everything re-installed and assembled for $1100 so not terrible. And the whole front end matches the rest of the car perfectly. I'd say i ended up doing pretty good on it. Oh, and got everything i needed for in the bumper(bezels and fogs and stuff) for $400 wholesale through a local dealership.

Edit: And that 1100 included the removal of both side scoops and had them both repainted because one had a car door opened on it. So lots of paint work done for not so much moola. lol

I have laser red and was thinking about a pre-painted bumper. Why would it not match? Is it because laser red fades fast or something?

You got it... The paint will most likely not match. It may need to be blended and such. Going to a body shop is really your only bet. It may be expensive, but it's pretty much your only choice. Idk if places even sell laser red pre-painted parts.

And teej I was just playin with ya . That's not a bad deal!!!
