Cobra Front Bumper
 

I posted this thread in the detailing section and got no response. Decided to post the thread here. Holla at you guys when I get back next year!!!!!!



What's up guys? I am having problems finding a cobra front bumper for my 03 GT. I will be going home in March on my mid tour leave from Afghanstain and I want to get rid of my bug infested front bumper and get a cobra bumper. I've found only one place (Blue Oval Industries) that sells the bumper complete... Everytime I send them a email they never reply back. Do you guys know anyone esle who sells that style bumper (complete)? I've found the hood I will be going with (Kaenen -95 style ) from American Muscle and I really want that bumper. Any help would be apprecaited..

which cobra bumper, 99/01, or 03-04?

I'll bump this thread up with my post because a lot of people have the 03/04 and should chime in with where they bought it from...

I would keep frequenting SVTperformance if i were you.

You could probably find a use one on craigslist or something

I know eBay sells pre-painted ones that I've seen in person and are pretty legit. It may be cheaper to buy this and the wiring seperately...just a thought.

late model resto has the full conversion to make the whole front end look like a cobra, but that includes the hood and is hella expensive. I'd just piece it together. Get the bumper off ebay from pershing as ive heard good things about their bumpers and the paint matches well from what ive heard. And then you can just piece the rest together from parts you can get at the local ford dealer. Thats what i did anyways...but i bought my bumper from a now good friend of mine.

i looks like your car is either laser red or redfire hard to tell from the small pic in your profile, if it is laser red buying one that is already painted is out of the question because it will not match

i got my 03 cobra bumper from the ford dealer if you get 1 here is a list of what you need: bumper, fog lights (left & right), fog light bezels, fog light mounting bracket, and chin spoiler (dont put the mach 1 chin spoiler get the 1 for the 03-04 cobra) the fog lights where high from ford so i would look into ebay for those.

Factory ford fog lights are gonna be brighter than the ebay ones...but yea, just get everything from the ford dealer...minus the bumper cus that will be insane.
