Default clutch replacement 04 gt. Advice?

what is the difficulty of replacing the clutch on an 04 GT? Do I have to take the whole tranny out? And anybody got any "shade tree" tech advice? I have an 04 gt with several bolt-ons and 4.10 gears. what would be a good clutch that wont break the bank but has ample clamping force? thanks

SPEC is the way to go... Drop mid pipe, drop drive shaft, pull tranny, replace clutch, resurface flywheel or replace, put back together. Simply put.

Is your clutch slipping? If it isn't I wouldn't worry about changing it out just yet.

Spec 2 clutch kit runs $334.99 on AM.com. Centerforce clutches are good but run a little more.

Don't the 04 GTs have 26 input spline?

My clutch install cost $1100 I think... Stage 2 SPEC $350, Alum Flywheel SPEC $350, UPR quadrant + firewall adjuster, so about 3-4 hours labor at 60 an hour.
