GT Side Scoop replacement
Hey guys,
I searched every thread I can think of and didn't find what I was looking for, so flame on if you have to.
My driver's side scoop was ripped completely off the car while I was driving home the other day, when something flew up off the road from under the car in front of me, and I need to find the cheapest place to buy a replacement. Deductible is $500, so I'm screwed, since estimate was $525. I've tried all the usual online stores, and the least expensive replacement I can find doesn't have the factory fasteners, it uses double sided tape.
I'm looking for the least expensive factory replacement side scoop for a 2001 GT I can purchase. Painting and fitting are extra for sure, but I need the part without going to the dealership and getting reamed.
Thanks in advance,
Kong
P.S. Yes, I'm pissed, because the car was flawless, ****ing flawless and bone stock, until this. That's why I bought it.

I had a sidescoop ripped off of my 01 GT; had to eventually get the replacement from Ford for about $100.00.
You can go to NAPA and have them mix you a pint of the paint that matches your color code, and get someone to spray it for cheap.
