Peak HP/tq are only one consideration, what does the overall curve look like? What octane fuel are you running?

As for the traction control, it has no effect on anything unless the rear wheels are turning at different speeds--very unlikely/nearly impossible to happen on a dyno...

I thought that traction control worked by monitoring the speeds of the front and rear tires through the abs stuff because i was pulling my car around to a different bay at my dads shop and got stuck in the snow and i was sitting still and my back tires were spinning much like on the dyno and the traction control was kicking in...... i will post a pic of the chart in a min so you can see the curve and i am running 93 oct. its just with the mods i have i should be putting down 280-290 pretty easily...

Yea, them numbeers seem a little low... but not too sure if the traction control would affect it any?!

Read ^^^

It's not a traction control issue.

The graph looks correct for Hitech stage 2's, it's just off about by 20 hp/tq.

Yea def not traction control. And it's on a Dynojet..so its just a tuning issue. 285-290 is very possible w/ ur setup.

any ways you will know if you TC kicks in w/ the dyno run because you will un-doubt-ably hear the car "get off the gas" for a few seconds. If that happend, you or the tuner would of immediately noticed and fixed the problem.

I could be a number of things why you are only at 271. 280-290 is very possible. whats ur TQ numbers?

OP, in your other thread you said your car feels better, pulls harder and is much more fun to drive. I wouldn't worry about your dyno numbers and just enjoy your car. There have been threads that talk about all the variables in dyno readings that it isn't worth worrying about.
