Default Tire question (Nitto500Z)

Ok, so I got some free 17" cobra rims and have been looking for 2 275/40/17's to put on the rims. Well I just happened to come across Nitto500Z's in the right size brand new never used for $30/tire. He assures they are all good. Is this a good stang tire? anyone know anything about it?

never heard of them before. But i just looked them up and doesnt seem like the greatest tires for a stang. Probably a decent tire in the rain but wont do well in a straight line. Just my opinion. But buy them for that cheap man. Dont matter if they are a good tire. they are cheap. And seeing that youre in nebraska, might do decent in snow.

Well my current rims look like garbage, and my brother gave me free 17" cobra rims but the tires are shot, I don't need anything perfect for performance, just a good DD tire. I'm gonna buy! 6 are available I think I'm getting 4, if you want 2 of them let me know and I'll shoot you a link.

What tires are you talking about? I don't see that tire on Nitto's website.

^Don't see why not, especially for that price. Just don't expect performance out of them.

well they have the same treadware as the NT555's but the tread pattern seem to be good for all season. If i were close to you, id probably buy the other two for winter tires. But im not so no thanks.
