first off thank you all for the help with the sizing now biggest question should i go for the NT555's or the NT05's would go for invos but they don't make my size. I am going to be running these tires all year long so i need to know how they do in wet, track, dry and the cold also I have done and entire google search found some good help but no one with mustangs and we all know they don't like to stick so i wana hear someone's thoughts that have actually ran them before

How cold? These are ultra high performance summer tires. They are not recommended to be used when tempatures approach freezing. The compound summer tires are made of just doesn't hold the road well when cold.

P.S. Doesn't Virgina get snow?

The NT05 is a nice tire, but not soo sure it would be good in the temps of VA. It is not an "R" rated tire, so would probably be OK. I would stongly consider using the stockers with thinner mud/snow tires and go aftermarket 9"s/10"s for Summer use with the NT05's

Running summer tires in the winter (especially snow) is the single biggest reason that Mustangs have a bad rep for winter driving. My car had summer tires on it (Kumhos) the first winter I had it. I was sliding everywhere and got stuck on a half inch of snow in a parking lot.

I agree that Sumitomo's are one of the worst tires in the world. When I changed back to my winter wheels last month I discovered my 245/45-17 Continental Extreme Contact ultra high performance all-season tires (z rated) actually hooked better than my 315/35-17 Sumitomos on warm dry payment.

If you can only run one set of tires then I recommend that you consider an ultra high performance all-season tire instead of summer tires. Those tires aren't discussed as much on the forums as other because the guys down south don't need them and a lot of guys in the north park their cars for the winter.

What size are your wheels? I think the Continental's only go up to 245/45-17 but I've been looking at others that go up to 275/40-17 because my Continentials are just about worn out. By the way, I drove to work this morning with an inch of snow on the roads. They've now closed the schools in the area and it looks like I'll be going home in 4 inches of snow. I had no problems getting to work and I do not expect any problems going home.

My NT05's are awesome! They hook on the street just as well as my NT01's but there is not much left after just a few months.

I truly wish you a lot of luck if you intend to drive this tire on snow. Do yourself a favor and park your car if its below freezing and there's any possibility of hitting an icy patch.
