Mustang cobra bumper COVER??
 

Anyone have experience with bumper covers? Want to put on the cobra front bumper cover on my 02 gt. Can you tell if it's a cover or not when its on the car?

your factory bumper is a bumper cover. the bumper is a piece behind the cover. putting the cobra one on is probably not that hard if they have the same bolt set up which i would bet they do. since it would just replace your current bumper cover.

you have a bumper cover on your car already, its the stock gt one...switching to a cobra one will look exactly the same as having it from the factory, except it will be the cobra one instead of the gt

i have a feeling you have no idea in the world what youre talking about....the actual bumper is a piece of box metal with a foam padding attached to it...you never see that part because every car comes from the factory with a cover already installed

And any suggestions of what I can do for rock chips on the bumper? I heard of something thats some clear bra , or...

plz dont put a cobra bumper on ur gt...
You can get a clear bra 3M makes them as well as many others that will help with that.
Get your current bumper touched up and detailed then bra it. you'll be mint.
