Nice numbers for NPI. You'll see some good gains with the PI heads i believe. And YES there will be a need for another tune...you should be close to 400 i believe after the tune!

Good luck!

NPI heads flow almost the same as PI heads. All he needs are better cams and a PI intake manifold..

So what would a decent set of cams be for a NPI car?

Well everyone is gonna say CMS stage 2s, hitech, or comp cams. MRTstang has a fav company (modular sumthing lol). But just do you're research on here and on the web, you'll find a great cam.

I myself got a set Hitech Stage 2 cams. With new valve springs and some 24lb injectors.

I have another question since we are talking about new heads and cams. I currently have a 75MM Professional Products TB and a C&L elbow. Well I wass told that the Professional Products TB is worthless and should be changed because of low idle issues and stalls. I was looking at the BBK Power-Plus Series 78MM Throttle Body and was wondering if that would be ok with my V2.

I believe itd work w/ ur S/C i don't see why it wouldn't. Id like to see the gains over a 75mm tb on a s/c application.

I wouldn't say the 75mm PP throttle body is worthless, it'd just not the best. Since you already have it, i'd just keep it and use use it.

As far as cams go, it depends on what you want. Like mustangmancp has mentioned, CMS, Comp, Hitech, and Bullet Racing Cams from Modular Head Shop are all good cams.

My goals are to replace the TB very soon and do a complete PI swap to include cams at some point. I just need to save some money so that I can get it all done at the same time, including a new tune. After that I want to do some suspension work

I hate to steal my own thread but do have an off subject questions. I curently have stock rims and tires on my 2001 and want to replace them before anything else. What tire would you recommend for maxium tractions and some drivability. I was looking at the NT555 Tire (275/40-17) but have read several mixed reviews on them.

Thanks

Wherever you read that from needs to be blown up/burned/ destroyed in some over the top way.

PI swap and ull be close to 400 if not at it.
