That would deffinatly make your car loud...but for REAL loud it comes down to 3 things... long tube headers, a off road mid pipe (h or x), and a straight through muffler (SSS AND SLP ARE MY FAV)

Longtubes will actually mellow out the exhaust. A regular midpipe/muffler combo will be louder than the same combo with the addition of longtubes. At least with SLP's it is.

With my exhaust the long tubes made the idle, and light part throttle at tad quieter than with the stock manifolds, but eveywhere else (especially WOT) was significantly louder.

Well, like i stated above at idle and light part throttle... yes. At heavy and WOT... no.

One thing to note is that the tone got deeper at every point.

Well when you have SLP's, they'll always be loud as hell. So when at WOT, i dont know if youre going to notice any increase in loudness at all. Just because theyre so damn loud already.

My LTs were quieter at idle then the stockers like MRT said but at WOT and just when i rev it you can tell its a bit louder. But I get what you're saying about the SLPs they are definatley the LOUDEST exhaust out there lol so i don't see how you could hear a difference.

o/r x and LM2s is the best sounding exhaust setup for a 2v

or you could be a broke *** like me and spend $800 on some 3.5" headers and not have any cash left to buy the rest of the exhaust lol....ill be running open headers for awhile

Yea i think with the full slp set up it would be hard to tell a difference just because its so crazy loud. By i find it interesting how manifolds are as loud if not louder as long tubes.
