really?? didnt know that would work. would they be powdercoated black? why wouldnt that make them look black/not black chrome? i dont know much about the whole powdercoating process...

they can powdercoat black chrome...it comes out looking the same as real black chrome painting, except its not plated...it wont pit and wont be destroyed by the michigan road salt

no kidding. do you know the guy who does it on this site? i know its in his sig, but dont remember his username. i didnt know they could powdercoat a black chrome color. awesome. ill look into that!!

this is powdercoated black chrome


theres a place in ohio that does the powdercoating, they use a special kind of paint but i cant remember what its called...its used on that wheel...if you call them im sure you could arrange to ship the tips to them and have them do it and ship them back...they do awesome work, i had them do my truck wheels...lmk if you want info....it would be cheaper to buy cheap tips, send them here, and have them done than it would be to order those $80 tips off ebay

that wheel looks awesome. wow. i will definitely look more into powdercoating options. Thanks a ton man! Do you know the MF members username by chance? or if you find that place in ohio? ill do some searching for it too.
