this is a good find, i read the whole thing. its very interesting.

What i got from this is that you gain shear light, but you lose color recognition compared to a standard halogen. Thus yellowish fogs are used and not blue-ish hid style color beams.

let us know what kit you get and how it turns out. I'm still in the market to get HIDs too.
You're looking for something like this... not with those corners, but you get the idea.

Question about installing aftermarket HIDs.

On my 2007 when I unlock the car, headlights come on...

I know on the factory 08+ the fogs come on. When installing the aftermarket HIDs, is there a way to disable this feature, or have the fogs come on??

Thanks for the help.

I'll probably be ordering HID's from ddm sometime this week.
Headlights - 55w 9007 Hi/Low 5000k
Foglights - 55w 880 5000k
Are these the right bulb types? Any recommendations or will these work fine?

they should work and be fine

I wish someone would make projectors headlight housings for our cars that didn't look like they belong on some riced out 95 neon

are the 55watt ones too much for the fogs? As in they heat up too much for a small casing?
