I leased a 2000 Galant back in 2000 at the time it seemed like a great car. I even thought about buying it when the lease was up but thankfully I didn't those things are not holding up so good here in MI all the ones I still see on the road already have a crazy amount of rust on them.
I know when we got ours I hated the cloth seats and had the dealer put in leather and it was pretty cheap. There was already leather kits out for it so it seems like they should still be out there.

good job bud. not a big fan of Mitsi. If it has the 4g63 u could get a turbo off a 97 or so GST, and have a fun lile DD.

Its a 6g72 I'm pretty sure.

@OP: I used to have a 2001 Galant GTZ. Solid car for DD. Mine had all gray leather interior, seats were very comfortable. Never had a single problem with it, other than it stopped working after I ran it into a wall at 50 mph. Strangest thing.

I worked on a friends Galant a few weeks ago... It was a rust bucket. G/L and hope you don't have electrical problems.

I live in Florida and the car has only been on the beach like 3 times and was rinsed after so there is 0 rust on it.

So far I have paid $0 for it because I really don't have time to do all the paperwork until spring and they let me have it already anyway. It's probably gonna cost me about $2500 though.

The stock exhaust tip was total weaksauce so I added some JDM steeze and put a new one on there lol

I wish the wheels filled the fenders more...
