Thanks Eagle I was assuming that was the case. Just takes someone spelling it out for me to grasp the concept completely. I was confused about when I cruised down the highway at part throttle at 3k rpm why wasnt I in boost. But the above makes sense. Thank you both for your time. I do understand that every vehicle will make different boost for a given pulley/mods/etc. Wasnt part of my question though... At first I was thinking it would be like this: x amount of rpm=x amount of boost reguardless of throttle position. But didnt think of the gauge reading on the intake side.

Ok, Im going to break this down for ya dennis..
Cliffs: your cars not broke, no boost shown on guage while revving car is normal, go enjoy your ride while the weather is still nice
My truck peaks 15.3psi. If I stab the throttle in neutral I'll see maybe 2-5psi on the gauge. Now if I rollin down the road and stab the throttle, I'll see 15. However I have a different style sc than you.. but same principles.
