I had my 97 gt and it got totaled and i could have bought it back for $500 and this was about 5 years ago i didnt buy it back though i let em have it

dang man sorry to hear that! mystics are freakin sweet. my friend hydroplaned his 99 gt into a ditch and it was totaled but he fixed it and it just isnt the same.

Its prob not even worth it to try and salvage it. I had totaled a KIA before getting my stang. I was going 15 MPH and rear ended a lady and it actually bent the frame of the car. Unless you own your own body shop or know someone that can repair it for next to nothing its not worth it. Plus reliability of it wouldnt be that great

Good comparison a Kia that isn't worth any thing in perfect condition to a Mystic Cobra that actually has value.
His car is definitely worth it to part it out People are paying $2000 or more for the engine alone another $200 to $400 for the brakes and than there is all the interior parts.
I agree the car is not worth fixing only because the paint is so expense and all the hoops you have to jump through to even get the paint

sorry to hear about the loss man that really sucks. If you do decide to buy it back and part it out i would be interested in the brakes.
