Default New here and lookng to buy

Hi All,

new here and looking to buy a new toy. Been kinda searching c-list for a Mustang for the wife. I have my toy and she wants one now.

Here are a couple I have found close, and was wondering what your expertise has to say:

2002 Saleen mustang supercharged, black leather interior ,fire engine red paint,55k miles, 6 speed manual. Recent tune up which included full synthetic oil rear axle ,a new heater core and fresh charge of ac system along with new serpentine belt. Great car just cannot afford it anymore. My loss is your gain. $ 10500

Beautiful 2001 Stage II Roush Mustang 55k miles Clifford talking alarm, 100 shot of Nitrous 6 disc cd changer, I had sold the car for $16,000 but a tragic emergency in the buyer's life caused the deal to fall through, will now sell for $14,900.

She would LOVE a Roush but the nitrous scares me.

Are they crazy with these prices? NADA doesn't seem to list the Saleen and Roush models.

TIA

That sounds like a good price on the Saleen.
Plus Saleen's usually are taken care of they usually get bought buy people that take care of there stuff. Unlike a GT that has been beat into the ground
I'm not a Roush person so I have nothing on that car but it does seem like a high price

I do like the Saleen. Any idea where to look up values? NADA does not list the Mach1, Saleen, or Roush. Or is it just a "what the market pays" deal. Thanks.

She has been pretty patient with me and my 944S, I really want to get her a funner toy than the Excursion to drive everyday. She deserves it. Granted i know I will have to drive her car to make sure there is no carbon build up.

Saleens are sweet cars and that looks to be a good price as long as the car is in good condition.

Saleen sounds to be the way better deal. Why not find her a nice cobra?

The Saleen looks hot! I'd go for that in a heartbeat if all checks out. I'd be sure to check the VIN in Autocheck or Carfax too.

Any know problems to look out for in general with the 4.6? Seem every car has its down fall, but haven't found one for the 4.6 yet.
