Drilling the battery box for cable and vent tube entry is required. NHRA and IHRA approved when installed according to the sanctioning bodies rules. Inside dimensions of the box are approximately: L- 10.75 in.; W - 8.5 in.; H- 9 in.

^^^notes from summit about the kit, so being plastic is legal

just a quick ? on tires. can i run a 26x10.5 slick on a 15x7 wheel?

I've seen it done but it may be very unstable on the top end. A 8" or 10" would be much better. Have you ever experienced "tire sway"

yea, i use to drift race a lot, tires that came on the car were too big, about crashed a few times then i put the right size on it
i'll just pass up the deal i found and wait for the right size

good to know, thanks guys...wasnt sure since i was told differently....should save a lot of hassle with my car then since i have a plastic box
