I have an 01' GT automatic, and it had over 100,000 miles on both the engine and tranny when I put my Kenne Bell on. With 9lbs. of boost I put down just a little over 400 at the tire (stock automatic/no converter), not too shabby for an stock tranny. I put an 11psi. pully on to see the difference, and it put down 438 to the tire. I figured that would be a little too much for the stock engine to take, so I changed it back to the 9psi. pully. Besides the KB, MSD coil on plugs, K&N cold air intake, sniper tune and 4:10 gears, everything else was stock and untouched. The car ran 11.90's-12.0's all day long, with nothing else done to the car at all. I say just do it, but keep the boost at 9 psi and dont over rev it or bump up the factory rev limits.

Correction on my above post, I had 4:11's in my car and was bumping the rev limiter before the traps. I was running 12.2-12.3 with the 4:10's because I had to back out of the throttle at the top of the track. I swapped the gear to a 3:73, and went through the traps right at 5,500 (perfect). I would reccomend not going higher than 3:73, if you have not already. Sorry if there was any confusion with my first post, I don't want you to make the same mistake I did.
