I've been looking around and it seems that the knock sensors are only on cobras and not the GT's. I've been making a list of things to get before my turbo and this is one of them. I was wondering who makes an aftermarket kit knock sensor for a npi block(dont know if that matters vs a pi one).

Its just for safety since I have a higher CR then a normal GT, I only plan on boosting to 5psi.

You'll be fine to 6-8lbs boost. But you'll acutally probably need a different block to run knock sensors because they are actually bungs present in the block. Tim99GT has a block that had them cus he got a shortblock from MMR and they use the 03 cobra block. I think that you will need one of those to do the knock sensors. Might not but im pretty sure.

I figured, but I've heard its hard to detect pinging/knocking in these sn95's. So for the extra money it would be peace of mind really. I can't find any after market kits either... Are there really no other options??

Yeah, the GT block doesn't even have a place for them. The Teksid blocks have them.
