Default Today I found out that I have been royally Effed!!!

A while ago, I bought my longtubes and "Prochamber" directly from mac because they were the only ones that i trusted to send me the parts. Plus at the time it was the cheapest way to get mac. So the parts arrived at my house and i was so excited i didnt even open it. I just drove to the mechanics place and he installed it. Guess what... since my turbo is moving along very well, it was time to take the Longtubes and "Prochamber" off. It turns out, i got an H pipe from mac. I paid the price for the prochamber and never got one. Im SOL because i dont have the reciecpt anymore. **** me!

So you never honestly looked to see what midpipe you had? Thats ridiculous. I'd be looking under the car when it was all done to begin with to see the clearances i'd have. And wow, you didnt think that it was a little bit loud for a prochamber?

Not sure how good MAC's customer service is, but they should have a copy of your invoice on file for customer records, etc. Try to call them up and see what that invoice says they sold you. I doubt they'll want to trade you a Prochamber for your used h pipe, but they may offer (with some sweet talking from your end) to try to make it up to you somehow. Never hurts to try.

I don't know how you never looked at the parts. I always tear into that crap like Christmas morning when I get new stuff!

Since you put in on the car you really don't have a claim. You don't really expect them to take back a used part do you?

No. I don't expect them to do anything but have the same reaction as hoss. This was the only part I ever recieved that I decided to not look at. Idk why. I was so caught up In the moment that I just drove over there and dropped the stuff off. It's lesson learned. Also for other guys to check their stuff!! Graystang. I don't have my turbo yet. Sorry. Just realized it was misleading. Tax returns come in and I'm buying it all. I just bought all the misc parts needed for the car. Everything is ready to go. Just need the kit.

Kinda funny, but it is a lesson learned. There is a reason for all the "Christmas comes early" and "Look what I found on my doorstep" threads, you have to open the boxes to make sure everything is there and correct, then snap some pics and post em up to rub in the rest of our faces.

Paul, are you selling your h-pipe?
Sorry to hear that man, it does suck that you did not look at what you bought. But thats the past and now you can look toward your TURBO!
