Default Used supercharger question - Eaton M112 on 2v

I found guy on the Craigslist who sell his supercharger with 1500 miles on it.

See link below:

http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/ite...1=M6066M463+01

It comes with 42lbs injectors, lighting MAf, 99-04 fuel rail, and 2 new bottlels of gm S/C oil and the misc hardware (brackets, bolts and etc.)

What you guys think about this S/C? IS $2000 fare price for it?

I think all I need to complete the package is a new fuel pump, and duct to connect it to the new maf and my K&N air filter.

Welcome! It sounds like a fair price, but i couldn't tell you for sure. I hear a lot of mixed reviews on doing the swap. I think there are better alternatives. I'm sure others with more experience in this particular area will chime in.

Where in MI are you?

I was looking for cheaper alternatives, but I couldn't find complete kit for the same or less price (just blowers). I am concern putting to much boost since I have 80k on my engine. 6psi seems to be okay, but $2000 for 55hp sounds expensive...lol

Doesn't the intake to make it work cost around $1500?

Have you considered nitrous? If done right it's very cheap, and just as safe. If you're on a budget, and don't need the power all the time, it's the best bang for the buck you can get. I'm very happy with mine.

I was thinking about it, but I would also like to have some prefomance improvements over normal driving range starting from 1500 rpm. If I remember correctly you can not engage "spray" before 3000 rpm.

I also have stock intake manifold with orgininal plastic coolant crossover (why it is not leaking yet??), so I will have to swap it as well.
