yea powerdyne mustang dyno are depressing. but i some how made 267 rwhp and 289 rwtq on the mustang dyno here and still dont have longtubes or cams. so im pretty happy with it. i would love to go to a dyno jet to get a good laugh. But i dont see why you couldnt hit a high 13 or low 14/ just give her hell!

don't always believe the #'s that a dyno produces. The dyno jet may may you cry, not laugh. I wouldn't be suprised if your numbers came back lower on a dyno jet. I's bet your tuner manipulated your # on the MD.

I did it on some MT's, but until you're shocking the hell out of a tire, I'd assume a DR is a DR.

I used lots of clutch to get my launch, anything too high and it'd bog once I was off the clutch because the tires were biting and my rpms would drop like crazy....and, only making stockish hp the low rpms are not too forgiving as far as getting off of the line.

I'm sure your car making nearly 270 to the wheels has more than enough power to get into the 1.7's relatively easy, it's just finding that sweet spot that allows you to not bog or spin on the Nittos.

I made 243hp and 288tq with my 02 auto with the mods below on a mustang dyno at Mike murillo Motorsports in San Antonio Tx.He also told me he put track bite down and eased out on it and ran a 12.7 in the 1/4.
