Is it okay to run 295/35/18 on a new edge?

Hell yea! Im running a 295/30-18 on the backs right now. Not the right sidewall but thats the size i was gonna run until i looked and 295's arent wide enough for me. But on an 18x10 wheel, they will be perfect.

Yup, my friends running 305/35/18's with no rubbing issues on his 2001 Mustang GT.

They are about 2% larger diameter than the OEM tires, so they will mess up your speedometer a tiny bit--it will read 1 MPH or so slower than actual speed at 60...

It will read .6mph lower. Im going for a 335 wide tire for the rear of my car. Im gonna be rolling the fenders here soon.

Find me a decent street tire that i can find for $310 a tire mounted and balanced that is 305 or 315...I cant find anything that isnt an R compound tire that is that wide.

Jazzer, Teej likes having bulging tires. That's why he is going with 335s.

probly gunna need a 295/30/18. A 35 series sidewall might be too tall.

Id rather have bulge than stretch. I dont drive a VW...nor do i like risking damaging my wheels with curb rash because we all know nobody is perfect and im bound to have something to actually happen to me and just mess up these wheels i just bought.
