Then try a different size hole, larger or smaller depending on the exact definition of "did not work"...

OK so I'm haveing a similar problem but mine will hang between 2000 and 3000 when coming to a stop and won't come down till I stop and the rpms will hang at what ever the rpms were at before shift car will try to accelerate on its own at times I did the idle air control valve but that didn't fix my problem at all only time It doesn't stay at the rpm it was at before shift is if under 2k then it goes to 2k

You can try setting the throttle body initial adjustment as described here.

Make sure you disconnect the battery to reset the KAM, and let it idle for 15 minutes after restarting...
