sfc question jazzer little help here!
Im ordering sfcs cause i got a bunch of money for my b day today. My question is can i just get these sfcs from am? http://www.americanmuscle.com/subfra...tors-7904.html
Are they any different than the MM ones? Cause i could care less about paying the extra $60 for the name.

most full length ones seem to be rather the same..but i have found that some of the cheaper brands are thicker... i prefer mine bare, instead of coated with anythiing cause you have to clean off any coated to weld them in. i just always por15 it, and or use under coating on all of it.

yeah i dont care if there coated. Im just looking to save 60 bucks if its worth it thought. If there really thin walled or there not as good ill just get the mm ones. But like i said i would rather spend 60 less if its the same thing.

i was gonna go with them anyways until i saw the other ones for only 90. haha I dont care if there not coated i have paint and everything so thats not a problem. I just dont wanna be welding it and burn a hole through it if there made of crap metal.

One doesn't pay for a name, but rather... reputation.
The difference I would look to find is the strength/thickness of the steel in which is used. I don't see any specs on the AM ones, but see .120" wall thickness on the MM ones. I would contact AM and see how thick they are and go from there. I will say that the thickness is not as critical on lower SFC's as they are generally being asked not to "stretch" as opposed to uppers that are being pushed inward at both ends, so need to be MUCH stronger.
