good luck with that if you want it to come out right, the mach 1 chin is a different shape than the bumper. when i put a mach chin on my 99/01, i started at the center, and used a bolt/nut to hold it in place. then moved out a few inches, bent it to fit flush, drilled a hole, and put another bolt/nut in. i just worked my way all the way to the edge, then did the other side. it was hard, and in the end i wound up using something like 20 nuts/bolts. it looks 100% flush, but if you crawl underneath you can see how it's all wrinkled from me bending the crap out of it :lol: i didn't have a choice tho, the previous owner had cut out the underside of the bumper for an intercooler. i had a chin on my stock spoiler, so i was like IDK, i'm just going to put a chin on it soon anyway. little did i know the work that was in store

HAHAHA +100000! Same thing here. I used so many nuts and bolts...Started from the inside as well. It's tough to get the damn chin to line up nicely on the 99/01, but once its done, it looks pretty damn good!
