Well, since i elected to have a custom chip burned in, it ran me $400 IIRC. Honestly, it was worth every penny. My car even ran faster n/a (compared to my SCT programmed tune) and on the juice everything was dialed in perfectly.

prob couple hundred for dyno tune.

another thing to consider...i had a friend of mine who was a certified dealer of NOX parts and did custom installs. put a kit on his 06 GTO and had a solenoid stick(not his fault)....kaboom up in flames...a whole front paint job, passenger headlight, and the 6.0L opened up to a 6.6L he was back at it lol

granted i dont know if on a small 75 shot or so if you had a solenoid stick it would do the same damage ( i think he was up to at least a 150 shot)

not to scare you but telling stories i have heard/seen myself

Depends on where you go really. My tuner is also a very good friend of mine so he tuned my car for under $100. Wont say how under, but it was a great deal. And he is going to retune my car for my mods as i go But what would you guys say usually...about $200 or so for a custom dyno tune. And that price might include dyno time, but then again might not.

Haha all my friends got the hookup with my guy too. lol but sure, if you feel like driving the whole way from MA i can see what i can do But i seriously got my car tuned for next to nothing. It was a street tune to tune for 91 octane that when put on the dyno in the middle of summer with high heat and high humidity put down 250/263. I had clutch slippage too which is why i think the torque is not high at all. When i go back in the spring, its getting dyno tuned and street tuned for 93 octane and hopefully i'll have more mods by then. He might ask for some money but I know he'll treat me right.
