Well two days ago i almost totaled my mustang, today my transmission took a **** on me. about a month ago i put a performance valve body on and a high stall torque converter and today i was going down the street and it starts jerkin trying to down shift or some **** and i pulled in advance auto parts i went in to get what i needed i came out and put it in reverse and it pulls forward put it in neutral it pulls forward so f*ck it in the morning im taking it to a local shop there going to replace all the electronics all the servos all the shift pressure controls there going to upgrade all the bands and clutches and look over my brand new performance valvebody and rebuild my brand new high stall torque converter with there stuff and hot wash the case of the tranny. and i think i got a hell of a price also and there going to be done by friday so i can have it for this weekend.

Yea, thats a b!tch. I went out to the freshman lot to go have fun in the snow that just fell...but public safety came out to the parking lot and just didnt leave when they saw the mustang with the lights on and steam coming out the exhaust. I was so excited to go out and have a little bit of fun...but they had to ruin it.

couldnt it be a shift linkage problem and not something requiring a full rebuild? it sounds like the car is just always wanting to move forward...my girls dad has an exploder that moves forward in every gear also, and thats what he has been told is most likely the problem

i dont know anything about auto transmission, just thought ide through that out there as possibly something to get looked at

Wow, that definately sucks. You have been having all sorts of problems with that trans.
